Eddie Miron - Performance Coach

Head of Player and Coaching Development

Eddie Miron is a native of Romania, having spent much of his life growing up in Italy. Eddie brings extensive expertise to ATI as a former player and now world class tennis and physical development coach.

Eddie, formerly a full-time athlete at the prestigious Bollettieri Sports Academy from 1991 to 1994, obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Physical Education. Eddie is an International Tennis Federation and Italian Federation Certified Level 3 coach.  He is recognized as a Tennis Professional by the Professional Tennis Registry in adult development and performance coaching on top of a designation as a I.F.S.W.A  Master Trainer. Eddie has also completed qualifications for the National Fitness Federation Personal Trainer Certification in Romania.

From a performance coaching standpoint, Eddie has guided several Ontario Players to National Selection and National Championship titles and Provincial Championship titles.

Eddie has coached athletes to reach the top two hundred of the International Junior Rankings and has been vital towards helping players achieve wins over junior players ranked top twenty in the world. Eddie has assisted as an employee in Tennis Canada’s Junior National Training Centre program in Toronto and helps lead, the U10, U12, U16 and U18 Provincial Training Center Match Play Re Groupings on behalf of Tennis Canada and the Ontario Tennis Association, a program focusing heavily on the psychological pillar of tennis development.

Eddie is fluent in English, French, Romanian and Italian.
